A Better Us

September 14th, 2009

I lack the lore to understand you,
what do you want?
Delicate is your skin, crystal to the core,
I can see Heaven through your eyes….
If you die, God shall grant you wishes,
numberless are what you can ask,
mother-earth is not enough to have your feet.
Mother of Jesus; so perfect and divine
what you must go through to vivify,
a gestation can be a devastation,
pain is your wind, and work your food.
May lighting dwell in me, and in us,
mistreat you we do, opress you we do,
the sword of Hell is easier to endure.
Tidal waves rise, clouds spread, flowers bloom,
when one of you is born,
the miracle of birth and the secret of love,
both belong to you, always evermore.
